Theme Song of National Day for Helping the Disabled to Be Re
Zhang Haidi, President of the China Disabled Persons' Federation (CDPF), on May 8 visited actors of the China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe at a recording studio who were busy recording the theme song for the 30th National Day for Helping the Disabled, which will fall on May 17 this year.
The song "Not One Less," composed and sung by blind singer Jiang Can, reflects the theme of lifting the disabled out of poverty and winning the battle against poverty.
Zhang gave suggestions on the recording of the song during the visit, adding that the CDPF will offer a good environment to the art troupe and encourage the performers to produce more excellent works.
Zhang noted that 2020 is the decisive year for winning the battle against poverty and clinching a complete victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. The CDPF should make great efforts in achieving the goal that no disabled person is left behind.
She encouraged disabled people to both improve their living standards and enrich their cultural lives when they strive for improvement.
Zhang also urged that the disabled persons' federations at all levels should try to reduce the impact of the novel coronavirus disease on disabled people in need and winning the battle against poverty.
