'Mobile Courses on Internet' Makes Seniors' Lives Easier

CULTURE 2020/12/16 11:15

The elderly people in all communities in Lin'an District, Hangzhou City, East China's Zhejiang Province, can learn how to use the smartphone with the help of young social workers
who give regular training in the communities.

Initiated by the civil affairs bureau of the district, the service aims to improve the senior residents' experiences on mobile internet and make their lives easier.

Thanks to the regular "mobile courses on Internet," the elderly get to know how to chat, do shopping and pay online. They also learn to take better photos using their mobile phones.
